Property Taxes

I dread September and December. Perhaps you do for the same reason I do. Property Taxes.

A resident who moved here from Rockville, another incorporated township with a population of 68,000, was shocked at how much her taxes increased when she moved here.

We obviously have a smaller commercial base and the development at Junction was an effort to increase that. But we need to look at how we can make it affordable to move to Takoma, to attract new business, and stay in our homes as we age in place.
